Animatronic Gray Heron
The animated heron and flapping fish that I made at Farmer Studios for Madam Tussaud's, was so highly praised by the client that we made this copy as a show piece. Pneumatic lines feed up through legs made of polyurethane rubber and steel, in to the body which is covered with feathers from a juvenile heron found dead by a welsh river

Powered by a small pneumatic cylinder this silicone rubber perch flaps helpless in the herons claw
Saltwater Crocodile Animatronic
This animated crocodile was made to lie close to the real thing at The Jurong Crocodile Farm and visitor attraction in Singapore. The client specified the species & it needed to be good enough to fool visitors even close up. Activated by a park guide or by a motion sensor it leaps from the pool spraying water from its nostrils. A real shocker
